Job Timer, by Doc Design is a nifty application for anyone who needs to keep track of how much time they spend on a job working on the computer. In working with the program I found it to be intuitive and easy-to-use, perfect for both new and experienced users. I like the fact that it had quite a few configurable options so you can make it work the way you want it to. Job Timer keeps track of the time you start, stop, when you have a "break" coming, and more. It will even set off an alarm to remind of things, like the fact that it's time for lunch! Cool. Job Timer tracks all your time and then calculates costs for you. You can use the program to create invoices for each job. I printed out some invoices and they looked good. You can also use Job Timer to track the invoices you've created. You can review all your invoices, and it will even give you a reminder about invoices that are due. Slick. I really liked the fact that you can include notes and update those as needed. That's a handy way to track little things that you may want to be reminded of about a particular job. Job Timer really makes it easy to track your time on the PC because it actually monitors the keyboard and mouse. To test it out I just stopped doing anything for a minute and the program automatically stopped the timer. That's an excellent feature because you don't have to remember to stop the timer or turn it back on. The program is loaded with nice features that make it a joy to use. I like it so much that it's not only a Pick, but I'm also making it a Dr. File Finder Favorite and in 25 years of reviewing software there haven't been many of those. So, if you work from your PC Job Timer may well be the solution you've been looking for to manage your time, and much more. Give it a try, I recommend it.
